Wide open arms
This painting is all about that feeling of freedom you get when the landscape opens up around you — standing high on the cliffs, the sea stretching out ahead of you. Wide open arms was inspired by one of my favourite walks along the Dorset coast, a place that’s always feels like home to me.
Painted in soft yellows, greens, and breezy blues, I wanted to capture the warmth of the land and the freshness of the sea air. A few fast-flying swallows sweep across the canvas too — like they’re carrying the horizon just a little further.
If cliff paths, sea winds, and wide, open skies make your heart feel lighter, this piece was painted with you in mind.

A little window to the coast — where the view never ends and the air feels full of promise.
