I would bring you the blue from the sky
"I would bring you the blue from the sky" was inspired by a walk along the Dorset Coastal Path. The view over the Jurassic Coast with clear blue water and rugged cliffs stayed with me, and I wanted to capture it on canvas.
I built up the cliffs using layers of warm-toned acrylic, adding depth and texture. In contrast, the sea is painted in smooth, translucent layers of blue, inviting the eye to rest and drift.
