"Today’s Nourishment”
Inspired by an old photograph of a farmyard scene in Germany, “Today’s Nourishment “ was painted during my recovery from a broken wrist. I was encouraged by regular time spent in my studio resiliently finding ways to keep creating within my limitations. Colour exploration, mark-making and expressive strokes, many created with my non-dominant left hand gave me much needed enjoyment and a sense of hope and possibility.
Layers of acrylic paint in warm undertones create depth and softness, with lively brushwork to describe the movement and activity of the scene.
Framed in a brushed white wood frame and ready to hang.
