"Love is on the Way"
Love is on the Way was inspired by the sense of promise we often find in nature—a pause where we get to glimpse into something hidden and beautiful. The moment I discovered a nest tucked into a mossy bank, holding two glowing eggs, was one of those unexpected surprises that stop you in your tracks and stay with you as a special memory.
I loved painting with vibrant blues and oranges, balanced by more subdued olive, browns and creamy yellows. At the centre, two glowing eggs rest in a nest touched with lichen, surrounded by layers of colour and textured brushwork. Framed in a light wooden frame and ready to hang.
