Description

Painted when the spring bluebells were everywhere in the lockdown of spring 2020. I wanted to capture the delicacy with the paler colours. I found that some of the heart shapes floated off the butterfly’s wing and the little butterfly began as a very detailed area but on sanding back became more a part of the scene. Acrylic on canvas varnished and sealed.
